    98 Corvette 10 supercharged. won´t com within +-5% LTFT

    Hello,

This is the first time for me doing a tune.

    The car runs OK now.
My problem is that I always get some knock retard @4000 RPM sometimes it starts @3800 at WOT runs.

And I´ve got problems with getting the Prim. VE within +-5%
It gets better and better every time I´m doing a scan and correcting the VE.
But I did this 7 times know and I still have 20% LTFT

Further problem is that the WB always shows that the car gets lean when I´m increasing TPS% faster.
Just for a short moment. Then comes back to 14.7 afr.
And when I start the car in cold condition it´s also lean at idle.

Here are 2 scan files and the latest update of my HPT.
I enabled PE, MAF, COT .....again because I wanted to try.
One scan is just part throttle, MAF, PE ....... disenabled.
The other one is from my last try with everything enabled. But basically the same file.

    What´s your oppinion?

    Magnaflow CAT back.
Kenne bell 2.6 with 3.25" pulley. approx. 10psi
    intercooled
    80lb injectors

I´m running premium fuel. Best pump gas available here in Austria is around 93 octane.
Outside temperatures today are around 90°F

    Do you have a wideband?
    Which one?
Are you sure its calibrated right?
    Are you using AFR error?
Are you turning off trims while tuning?

There is a lot of answers and help on this site if you do the leg work.

You have 2 VE tables primary and secondary. When you make changes to the Primary table you will have to copy that into the secondary table. The secondary table goes up in 10 kpa increments vs the primary which goes up in 5 kpa increments, so will have copy the primary into the secondary line for line.

Dont go WOT if tuning the VE tables for part throttle with the fuel trims.

Since your boosted with the stock 1 bar OS, return the VE tables to stock. Then tune the Maf.

    I bought tuning school, "beginner".
    I followed the instructions there.
I turned off MAF, COT, PE, fuel cut off..... as instructed.
I didn´t do any WOT while everything turned off.
I put a Autometer Wideband in the car.
But I havn´t connected it to my HP tuners because I´m using a Beta 2.23 version.
When I start the Editor it says "no analog devices" as it is a Beta version.
I didn´t modify the Seconary VE.
Did I miss anything in the Tuning School or is this just e few steps further?
I always repeated correcting the primary table.
Do I just have to copy the primary VE over the secondary?

you can still connect the WB through pin 55 on the blue harness then enable the egr through the tune.

Changed the VE secondary to match the VE primary today.
That solved nearly all my problems.
I con go on with tuning the car for good drivability now.
    It´s unbelievable strong.
Now I know that I have to do some further upgrading in the next few week.
1st thing I´ll need is a stronger clutch. When you hit the throttle in 2nd i starts to spin the tires, gets traction and burns the clutch.
    Also in 3rd.
and I will need to put in a 8-rib belt system.
Threw off the belt today. And there is some rubber sticking on the inside of the hood.
Ran up to 12 psi today.
