    6l90 eating converter clutches

2009 CTS-V cam, pulley, headers, 562rwhp eats converter clutches in a couple thousand miles. Now on third converter. Converter company blames this on the fact of WOT lockup which I found to be in the stock program. Simply going to turn that off so that there is never any WOT lockup. Thoughts?

Excellent, that's what I will be doing and I already added the big cooler. As big of a cooler that you could fit in a CTS-V.

Junk converter clutch. I have a 2010 camaro with the clutch locking up at wot that has no problems. This car makes 1000whp and weights 4000lbs and runs mid nines in the quarter.

You sure about that. I thought it ran the same converter as the 6L80E, which is a 12" single disk. I could be wrong though, I'll check my source...
