it was actually slower than the first too.. only a 1.25.. the 2 step just upsets the car too much.. converter is going back to get loosened up a little this week.

i just need a set of the tall corvette rocker covers to fix a little oil leak...

the last run was a 8.2@169

the first 2 we were just getting some data as we cant hold it down on the dyno so the tune is a lot different at the track so we only ran it through to half track..

next time out ill start on winding up the boost and it should run a 7.70 or so..

Our twin turbo 04 Z06 is running an HPT 3 bar OS with 96lb injectors at about 20psi making roughly 1000rwhp.

What is the limiting factor on the stock PCM. I've been told that the coils can't keep up past around 12-1300hp. I'm currently building a sleeved stroker with a Thumper and it'll probably see 20-25psi of boost and I'm shooting for around 1500whp with it but trying to see what you guy's making that power have run into.

VYSSLS1's Drag car must be pushing round the 1400-1500hp mark and has shown no sign of the factory coils not keeping up... only downfall i have heard of with the factory LS1 PCM is it cant have the RPM limit raised above8000rpm

Well that doesn't bother me cause this is going to be a hydraulic setup with a maximum of around 7500. Also I'm not sure on the 8K limit either cause there have been a few guy's crank around 9K rpm with stock PCM NA they just had to fudge the 8K rpm column on fuel and timing. Due to it being the end of the table from my understanding it just keeps reading the last value on the table. I could be wrong about that but havent had a setup that was capable safely going past 8000rpm. I guess I'll just push forward with the 3bar OS and see what happens.

Pretty sick run with a heavy SUV

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

thats what i was running in my car..

but just got too tricky to run a seperate computer for another 8 injectors on the methenol so we swapped to a Haltech PS2000 with a IQ3 logger etc..

I know this is quite old but is the Haltech PS2000 a prototype EMS? Or is it not sequential coils and injectors? The Haltech USA rep said there was a new EMS in developement with multiple programmable sequential channels but didn't say when they would be out.

A Haltech PS2000 is a haltech platinum sports 2000 ECU... a EMS is a EMS (Engine Munching System).. 2 totally different brands...

the 2000 can run sequential injection and if teamed up with a CDI can do multi coils sequential as well (digitally) - well pretty sure

    LOL

Good info, I'm mainly looking for something to keep factory coils. Now don't the Platinum's only have 12-14 sequential drivers?
