    LNf disable throttle closing?

Got a 2009 ss/tc with an auto swap, high stall converter, and a gt3076r. computer hates it and keeps locking me at 50% throttle no matter what. Anyway to disable this crap?

unfortunatly you'll have to dual tune with trifecta that I know of. I know they're able to change the 1sec throttle open but it disables tc. are you running a auto hhr tune?

Nah, still on the regular 09 ss/tc pcm and os, car would barely run with that os on it.

and this is a constant thing I'm thinking it's more from the 3500rpm stall converter in the thing causing problems.

that's weird it wouldn't run, I know people have ran the hhr stage tune instead of the cobalt tune to try it out and was able to drive but would throw a cel after 3 key cycles. if you don't mind me asking, what was happening on the hhr tune? idk what the problem would be to keep it from opening 100 percent. my hhr is a 5spd but it'll open 100 percent without being wot.

Sounds like some sort of limp/gimp mode to me, but I dunno.

It'll go 100% until it hits boost (well for second since it's a 3500rpm converter). Then lock in at 50% and that's all. I had this issue when we first went big turbo with tq management and desired airload crap, but overboost and underboost are turned off, and no matter what I change car does the same thing,
and on the hhr tune, the car was backfiring out the intake and making some ungodly sounds. Went back to the 09 manual file and all was well. I dunno going to dig into it some more in a few days when I have more time.

yeah it goes into limp mode, seems like an underboost condition, but I supposedly have that off, so I dunno. its not throwing any codes related to why it would be doing that either

maybe the overboost and underboost settings need tweaked, and do you have the cels off aswell? Iirc even with the over/underboost, the codes had to be disabled. also, maybe its a beta issue with the tune and big turbo? wish I could actually help.

nah I had it running great manual, was up @520crank hp and then promptly exploded the trans (literally) hence the going built auto. I dunno haven't had too much time lately to mess with it, going at it full strength again next week.
I'll double check on everything tonight, but last I remember I already had the over/underboost codes shut off too.
