Need to tune a '98, have '02/'04 only

I am minutes away from possibly buying a basket case 1998 Trans Am with an LS1/A4.
I have HPTuners for an '02 camaro and '04 GTO. I have no need for GTO tuning.
I would like to put an '02 VCM in the '98, is that possible?
Or is there a way to send my interface in and get the GTO swapped out to a '98 trans am?
I'll need to tune an '02 camaro and a '98 trans am. I've had HPTuners for very near a year now.
What is the best way to do this?

Jason, the PCM swap is not an easy approach as the wiring harnesses of each are vastly different.

We can add the new license to your existing interace without having to send it back.
