    E85 questions

Ok So I am willing to eat crow here. I am having some problems I dynoed my car the other day and it made 305hp. But my cylinder air mass is off. I think its cause my stoich is set at 14.7 I am switching to 9.7 and going to retune. here is two files.
    My timing table

    What it should look like.

your not gonna get the power you are looking for by changing the stoich value

thats the only thing thats holding it back. What else would it be? Look at the tune I posted and the log. Everything for the most part lines up. I dont think I could change anything else to make more power. If I can please point it out so i can make the change.

Its in your timing table. Flatline numbers are good for torque but kills hp.

The stoich value that's programmed in won't do anything for making power... ultimately, the actual AFR and timing are going to determine how much power you make... nothing else. Changing the stoich value to the correct value will just make your airmass calculations correct so that you have the right resolution in your timing map.

IIRC area picked up 7 whp from changing the stoich to 9.7. It is something but its not where you are losing your power. The new timing table you posted on css looks way better but it could still use some ramping work. I wish I could figure out why my car gets idle overspeed and goes lean and wants to die when I change my stoich to 9.7 because it runs so smooth other than that

This thread is another prime example of people "thinking" they know what they are doing... And you wonder why there are so many TSB's out there advising Dealers to check for tunes...
