you know any with info on bosch 3's?
My setup is a 356ci with a 260/268 (212/218 at .050 lift) duration cam with aluminium corvette heads and flat top pistons running 11.3 comp. ratio. with tuned port injection and vortec crank pick up and dizzy running a 411 pcm and 60lb bosch injectors, 1.6 ratio roller rockers. For transmission its a 4l65e built with the monster in a box mega ss kit. All in a 92 chevy ext cab 4x4 pickup with a 98 cab now installed with a third door! running only e85
Is this all the info I would need for a 04 ls1 gto?

Why isn't accurate injector characterization data ubiquitous?
A lot of time it's because the manafactures don't have access to it or don't have the means to test for it.
More times than not people are popping them in the rails and selecting the poundage of the injector from the drop down menu in their preditor handheld tuner.....
When it comes to getting the test results yourself (Sending them off for testing) , It's usually more than people want to pay for said injectors....

Nvm, i guess it works, i was able to get my VE table closer to where i need it to be
also bringing this thread back. I have Bosch # 0280155811 which are different from Bosch 0280155868 / FAST #303608. From what I can gather, the 868 was released with both EV1 and EV6 connectors. The 811 just EV1. The 868 is same as FAST inj. but 811 is what originally came with ATi supercharger kits and original Pontiac supercharged grand prix.
I have seen some people say the 811 and 868 are same. Some say not. My inj. data in HPT which was loaded by my tuner does not match what others list for 868 Bosch. I can't find data that is explicitly for the 811 inj. It is always the 868 inj. Some say these are the inj. used in the ASA corvette, but don't specify if that is the 868 or 811 inj they used.
Any help clearing this up would be much appreciated. Retuning my new 408 stroker and want to make sure I have the correct Inj. data.
Mike
here is a copy of my tune. Also, I am confused as to how much these flow at 59psi. Is it 40 or 42? Are they 36lb at 43.5 psi or at 53 psi, which is what I thought I read the Pontiac v6 fuel pressure was/is.
just realized that all my data except for flow vs KPA is just the stock data for a 28lb inj. from a 2002 camaro. Tuner just modified flow table and nothing else. Nice huh. And this guy has been tuning local for a long time. I am going to try the tables listed here to start with in any event. 868 or 811, at least they should be better than the 28lb inj. data
IMHO the 811's are NOT the same as the 868's. Data for the 868's is widely available. I found out how to straighten out my cold starts during winter time, and it appears that ASA Vette fuel injector setting James Short provided work great. The numbers FIC provided did not work well at all so they were obviouly not correct for the specific injectors I purchased from them - but this was several years ago and at that time they said to just use the common formulas for changing the IFR table which did not yield flow rates that worked well. I believe you can use the ASA Vette numbers with confidence now for the 811's. Here is my tune for a 383 stroker with 230-ish at 0.050 camshaft.

James, didn't you get the correct values from James Short? Or were those once again 868 values?
Quick question...
Why, on the injector offset table provided by WS6, is their additional numbers beyond 18 columns? Do I not need the rest of those numbers then?
Thanks
it depends on the file, some tables may not be the same from year to year 98, 99-00 and 01-02 Fbody codes vary.

Any of you all running these injectors with this data running into a rich decel problem?
I get a rich spike indication on my Wideband AFR at 2400rpm down to 2000 rpm (0% TPS, 15KPA) that is about 12.3:1 then will taper out to my stoich value I command in CL.
I have tried lowering the lower kpa cells in VE in open loop but it does nothing (lowered them damn near into the teens so it is not making any difference)
I keep reading about short pulse adder table adjustment but I am worried it will effect the rest of my tune.
Any ideas?
Did you adjust your transient fueling?

Well i just checked. Transient has no changes compared to an OEM Camaro SS tune. I attached my tune if you would like to see yourself.
I have also attached a datalog showing the rich spike (it happens at 13 seconds until 19 seconds into the log).

No one has encountered this issue??
It is really making a couple trim cells in closed loop play tug-of-war back and forth due to correct afr on acceleration but rich on decel. eventually after closed-loop learns I get lean tip-in due to fuel changes and ltft memory.
I can't figure this out dammit lol
