I wouldn't do that. No corrective actions in the PCM for anything is asking for trouble, bad efficiency or something bad.

how does that make sense? ^

doesnt SD always run in OPEN LOOP? therefore you wouldnt be using your O2s?

SD doesnt use the MAF and as long as you have a wideband have your tune correct you can drive with the LTFT And STFT off, plus your cloosed loop enable tables set to 285,but why wouldnt you just weld a O2 bung into it and turn it back on after you tune your VE table? FYI i ran one summer in open loop to tune my car back in 2006

So correct me im wrong, but your saying to turn your O2s back on after you tune your VE? but if your in staying in Speed Density, why even bother?
Sound like the OP is running SD.

but please clarify, id like to hear you out. thanks man.

dont you run SD in open loop (aka no O2s)? am i confusing myself here?
so theres a OLSD & CLSD it seems like?
BUT why would running OLSD be an issue?

There is speed density closed loop and speed density closed loop. I personnaly use SDOL cause i use racing fuel and a good amount of nitrous. Its keeps things pretty much set and there is less chance of malfunction from a faulty maf or o2 this way. SDCL is good though cause u maintaing ur trims.

You mean closed loop SD and open loop SD
Speed density closed loop and speed density closed loop are the same
