    pulled up wrong vehicle

I hooked up my laptop to use the scanner on my new truck and it pulled up the wrong model. I have a 2009 vortec max silverado with 6.2 403 hp and 6 speed auto and it said I had a 2007 HHR with inline 4. Ive never had it hooked to an HHR. i also noticed that the temp reading was incorrect. the dash said 210 which im sure was correct and the scanner said 190. I wouldnt know what other readings were in error because most others are not reported via the factory dash. Has anyone seen anything like this?

Sounds like you need to contact support with a vcm suite infolog while connected to the vehicle in question.
If I hear when will Dodge be ready one more time...I might do one of these

Sounds like they shorted you 4 cylinders...LOL!

    Vortec Max is the 6.0L, 09' 6.2L is a L9H (flex-fuel version of L92)

Once you get everything workin here's a nice VCM scanner config file for our motor...BTW the temp gauge on my truck is not true either, trust what u see using VCM Scanner my dash gauge shows 210* even though I run @ 178* on the hwy with a 160* stat installed. My truck ran 190* on the hwy with the stock stat and up to 210* in stop n' go traffic. The needle will move if you overheat : )

i guess your right its not called the vortec max. i traded my 07 vortec max in on this 09 6.2l . I wanted it in 2wd but could only get it in 4wd. what other things have you done to yours?
