Smile stage 3 pcm n hptuners

the thing i want to know is,if you can enable the a/c through
hptuners. if thats the case i myself will be planning on switching my pcm to
a stg3 and let my tuner do his thing. if not i will be waiting for hptuners
or trifecta to enable the a/c. thank you for your time.

Honestly, I do not know what GM did to disable the A/C. I am not sure if
you are able to turn it on with our software or not. Are you able to get me
a read of the PCM with the stage 3 from someone that has HP Tuners?

so do anyone have access to hptuners with the latest beta and read a stg3 pcm n see wats up?

He's in southern california. Mac, i'd look at your tune, but you would have to pay for the credits to do, better off having your guy pull the tune.

My cable is having issues anyways.

you don't have to use credits to read or look at the tune. just to change it or write it.

Pulling tune and looking at it wont solve any problems. Promise. I contacted Bill about this (attached a S3 file AND S2 file for his team to compare) and here is what he had to say:

I don't know if this will help anyone or not... but a buddy of mine is a software engineer, and is likes to tinker with ECU calibrations (usually on Denso ECU's).
If anyone wants to post up a few Stage 3 calibration reads (from various years) I can probably get him to take a look, and try to get a solution for some of you.

    Edit:
Just got off the phone with him.
    He'd need the following stock and Stage 3 files (I can provide the stock files);
    - 05 CSS
    - 06-07 CSS
    - 04 IRL
    - 05 IRL
    - 06-07 IRL

To clarify this; his intentions at this point in time, are convert a Stage 3 file into a file with an HPT license ready VIN, and to possibly unlock the AC algorithm.
I've already got him started looking though the stock file... so hopefully once we have an S3 file to compare to, it won't be too long.
