    problem with custom wideband afr error pid

    i'm trying to make a custom wideband afr error % pid for my aem wideband. but i can't seem to get it just right... in the screenshot, are the settings that look right to me. but i get 100.0 in every cell i hit. i've tried different configurations and nothing has worked. please tell me i've overlooked something simple (and tell me what it is )

    2001 3.8 v6 camaro, T5, ford 42lb green top injectors, grand national .63 a/r turbo. 8psi. stock motor, ngk tr6 plugs (one step colder) 91 octane.

    whats in your table? Take afr sensor out of the WB pid just like with the error pid and see what that will do for you.

    Take out one of the mass air flows

    i took out a maf, the wb afr error and the aem wideband, then i tried again with the aem wideband. all with the same results did u mean remove the commanded afr?

    i'm a newb but i would think u would need to keep the commanded afr and and the aem wideband.

    ok try using the supplied AFR error instead of your custom one.

    Leave commanded afr

    Is this a stock OPSYS and not 2 or 3 bar?

    for some reason when i multiply the afr error % against the ve table... it makes my car run lean...i was only tuning idle and it got to 17:1.
    i didn't save any of the scans. but any ideas?

    How many decimals are you using? If it is close use % half

    use at least 2 decimals.

    close would be in the 5 percent and lower .

    K I adjusted those settings. And pretty much. Same results. But I think I'm on to something. When ever I put the car in open loop the commanded afr starts changing. Is that supposed to happen? Btw. I've been putting my car in open loop via the scanner

    commanded afr will change depending on temp and VE load ( kpa ). at least in will in a Gen III. Im not very familiar with your opsys. You might try contacting the support team here as they might be better suited to your situation.
