    false KR

Simple question, is it possible for uneven roads to trigger the knock sensors? My car seems to drive fine without any KR at wot, then all of a sudden in 3-4 runs, big amounts of KR appear as much as 4-5 even 6 degrees of KR at some instances.

what are the chances those are the knock sensors acting up?

I have forged pistons, a big cam, and headers, I have read that all may contribute to false knock, but that never happens to me . When I had a high compression motor, I had a lot of knock issues. I had to run no more than 25 degrees total timing and add 100octane gas to fix it. If your spark table is advanced, maybe you are just getting knock and you need to back up a few degrees of timing. If the table is stock, you need better fuel, or maybe there is a problem with the sensors. Hope this helps.

I think his problem is high cylinder pressure and supercharger noise...

So you do 3 - 4 WOT runs and then knock retard arcs up?

You mentioned uneven roads. How uneven?

Rough roads do influence the crank timing and misfire detection.
