Thread: EFI Tuner vs HP Tuner?

    ive had to bite the bullet and get SCT for both ford and GM as people with fords here want the flash box..

    the GM stuff is done different where you suck out the tune and convert it in the software and then you save it on the box, so you can suck out what ever tune you want and save it on the box.

    interesting points across the board.

    I have no experience with either, looking for the best /easiest for a rookie working on both duramax and ls1 transplant....

    You can't go wrong with either one. I started out with HPT then went to EFI and now now use both. I like things about each one and dislike things about each one. I have had great customer service from both companies.

    For products that are coming sometimes its good to keep some of that information to ourselves. Its still a work in progress.
