Thread: Connector X109 pin outs

    Connector X109 pin outs

Does anyone have the pinouts for connector X109 on a 2007/2008 Chevy C/K truck? I have the factory engine controls manual but it is not in there. I also bought a manual on disc but there were not connector pinouts in any section?

I have identified the Accelerator pedal, MIL and OBD scan port wires in it, but there are about 6 more I can't identify.

    Thanks!

    What is connector X109?

  4. #4
X109 is the connector I am trying to identify the pinouts for?

On the attached file X109 is connector #6. The diagram shows the connectors that plug into the bottom of the underhood fuse block as #3 and #4 are X1 and X2.

As I mentioned, it contains the signal from the Accelerator pedal, OBDII scan port and something else I can't identify.

This connector is on a 2007/2008 GM truck, Suburban, Silverado etc.

Ok, so you do have the pinouts for X1 & X2? I just did a stand-alone harness for a 2008 Silverado

Yep, The pinouts for X1 and X2 are in the C/K PU truck engine service manual. X1 and X2 are also in the wiring diagrams and in the electronic copy of the service manual that I have but connector pinout for X109 is not there.

I have found the following pinouts for X109 by tracing wiring diagrams:
    A6 GMLAN +
    A7 MIL CTL
    A8 GMLAN -

    B2 Batt Curren sens
    B3 "
    B4 "

    Accelerator position switch:
    C1 Lo Ref.
    C2 App2 sig.
    C3 5v Ref. 1
    C4 APP1 sig.
    C5 5v Ref. 2
    C6 Lo Ref.

Now all I am missing are 3 wires,
    B5- Blk. with White stripe
    B6- Dk. blue
    B8- Dk. blue

I just don't want to cut em until I am sure I don't need them.

    Maybe this will help

Yeah thanks but I have that already. It shows C4, C5 and C6 which I have already identified previously. In fact I think I have all the schematics and most engine connector end views but no X109.

Missing is B5, B6 and B8 as described.

X109 is a 24pin connector that has 3 rows of 8pins each row.

    B5 is BK/WH circuit # 451 it is a ground

B6 is OG Circuit # 1553 it is motor Contorl B

B8 is D-BU Circuit # 5985 It is Accessory wakeup Serial Data

X109 Engine Harness (except Diesel) or Engine Chassis Harness (Diesel) to Instrument Panel Harness (except NQF/NQH)

B5 is BK Circuit # 451 it is Ground (except MEX)

    B6 is D-BU Circuit # 204 it is A/C Low Pressure Sensor Signal (C67/CJ2)

    Stillnotavett you are the MAN!

Finally the mystery is solved and I can move on.

I don't need any of those 3 circuits so I can just wire the rest and cut off the connector.

BTW, Where ever did you find it?

Do blue wire accessory wake up data

Hello, sorry to butt in on you thread, I'm a little confused, this same cable also goes to the tcm connector pin 11, to be on the same page neither wire is needed then right? I only ask because I am using the 5.3 with its 4l60

    Thanks
