    2010 Camaro SS with cam - lean spike at tip in

    Anyone had any issues tuning 2010 Camaros with heads/cam, etc? Overall A/F is fine on the car, but there's a momentary lean spike at tip in. Any suggestions? Car is an automatic...

    Did you tune VE and MAF, or MAF only ?, if you did the last, you need to disable VE and tune MAF only, and adjust the MAF table as VE lookups were active up to 4000rpm.

    Lean spike can be minimized by setting transient fuel delay down to 10 reference pulses, then tailor down max mass to keep it from overshooting. Do this in forced closed loop with no PE to keep it at stoich while setting transient fuel max mass. Then do the rest of the tune as you normally would.
