GMPP had a end of year buy before January 1st deal I could not pass up, so I purchased an LSX454. I plan to put it in a 69 camaro with a 6 speed. My original plan was to use a 2000-2002 f body harness and pcm, but LSX engines are all made with 58X reluctors now. I know there is the adapter available. I would like opinions from expierianced tuners which vehicle/pcm you would recomend to run this, is there an obvious advantage I dont see? Is the adapter the best route? It will be emmisions delete, and I would like to stick with cable operated throttle body, but can switch should there be and advantage.

Pickup one of the newer processors and modify a harness or have a harness built. The older F-body ECU needs an older crank signal and a different cam signal. They also are MUCH slower in terms of processing power and ability to log the vitals. Tons of good info on this board...
