Fog Lights?

Hey I have a 2002 Silverado, and since it was just a base model there isn't any foglights. I was going to put OEM foglights in it and the switch also, but I found that BCM file is different. I was wondering how do I go about changing this? Can I have someone try and segment swap it, or do I have to have the dealer do that. It lists the seperate file on the GM TIS site.

Why would you need to do that? How do you want them to work? You should be able to wire it up off a parking light signal with a relay and have them work fine.

Well thats plan B if I can't do it how GM intended to do it.

Had a friend do the exact same thing. He had the dealer flash the bcm, only way I know to do it.

Here's some good info. From what I gather, pre 03 needs to have the bcm reflashed. Here's a few threads to help. There's plenty more if you need more info.

Here's a thread incase you want to wire up different ways for your lights. Such as highs/lows on at the same time. Or every light you have on the front come on at the same time.
