Unable to open file

Gilbert from ACE Racing Transmissions here, I'm on a clients' laptop. It is equipped with his HP Tuners software. I am trying to open a file sent to me by my Tuner, he is swamped and cannot handle it. I need to roll this car!

Background... '99 F-body that I just converted to a 4l80e. Utilizing 60e software, need to update the EPC and shift tables. Cannot open the file my Tuner sent which has applicable tables from previous projects.

What is the best way for me to proceed.. keep in mind I am familiar with the software, not the update processes nor the Beta version my Tuner referred to. He is unavailable to me today.

Current VCM version on this PC is... 2.1.18.0

I downloaded the VCM version 2.2. Installed it going through "read entire" process with the interface and am still not able to open the file.

The fault window reads... "Unable to open file. Index was outside the bounds of the array." While that may be typical for this situation, it is heiroglyphics to me! : )

I will continue to work on it. Just not familiar with the difference in the file I was supplied vs. what the software is looking for.

I get the same error trying to open some other forum members files.
