    Need help.
    I can't load tables from the HPTuners to the program. All 8 tables are opened, but I get a message: "Could not find one of the equation windows." It loooks like, the program can't found handles for MAP2 and RPM2 (I don't see it in the log window).

    I have the exact same problem, even after i loaded the program again.....

    I've also tried using a stock 2010 camaro file and attempted to load the equations and I have not been able to succesfully get them to copy over from HPT to the EQ program. I don't remember the error I get but maybe I'll edit this post later with the error message.

    Does the command "Copy Equations From HPTuner" get constants from HPTuner and paste into the table "Equation Constants" only?
    Then there is a way to solve my problem - copy the essential constants manually from HPtuner and paste to a .BEQ file in the appropriate format, and then load into the table "Equation Constants". Am I right?

    I had found that my problem was that I renamed the VCM executable files on my machine because I had installed 2.22 and 2.23 on the same machine. I had renamed the VCM Editor.exe to VCM Editor 2.23.exe and the program didn't like that. So a little advice to anyone installing multiple versions of HPT on their machines, make sure the VCM executable file for the version that you intend to use for tuning virtual VE is left as the default HPT name of VCM Editor.exe. I have already informed the BluCat software writer of this finding so he is aware of it.

    It grabs 6 and tells me that I need to open the other two, but they already are opened.

    Are they all displayed in table only mode? It doesn't pickup the tables if they are in table+graph mode

    Bluecat for Aus Holden SS/HSV R8/G8 VE Table

    Hi seems to work well but is there a format that suits the VE table layout in the Holden SS/HSV R8's and guessing would be the same in the pontiac G8's??

    MAP(kpa)15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50,55,60,65,70,75,80, 85,90,95,100,105,110,115,120,125,130,135,140,145,1 50,155,160,165,170,175,180,185,190,195,200,205,210

    And

    You can modify the Table_Dim.txt file to make your own custom one. Open it in Notepad and copy 3 lines from a config and paste it in and rename it to what you want. Example:

    I LS2 VE Format
    400 800 1200 1600 2000 .....
    15 20.625 26.25 31.875 37.5 ....

    Copy the three lines from above that are in the file so you have the format of the data and just replace the numbers ONLY (there are tabs between the numbers so be careful) and then replace the "LS2 VE Format" with your custom name.

    7. Open the EQ VE program and click on “HPTuner Hooks” and click “Copy Equations from HPTuner”. Click OK to the confirmation dialog
    8. Allow the program to copy the values out, don’t mess with any windows while it’s doing it’s thing. It’s done when it says, “Copy Data Complete”
    9. Click on “Gen Table”, “OK”, “No” to populate the EQ VE program’s LS2 VE table
    10. Make sure you have your histo open for the VE table AFR error.
    11. In the VE Table screen of my program, enable edits, then click "Analysis Modify" then "Apply HP Scanner Data".
    12. Let the program copy the data from your histo. After the copy is complete, a new window will open, select the action's (I.E. multiply, minimum counts and such) you want to do and click "Start".
    13. A new window will appear again with a data grid of the data to apply, click "Apply to Table".
    14. Back on the main screen, click “Gen Equation”, “OK”
    15. Click on “HPTuner Hooks”, “Send Equations to HPTuner”, “OK”, wait for it to complete and click “OK”.
    16. Save the tune file and flash it to the car. Start again with step 4 until AFR Error is within +-5%
    I am doing everything listed above until I get to the part that says to open the histogram in the VE- AFR error (#10). I am assuming it wont show anything since this car has a virtual VE? Am I doing something wrong?

    I skip #10 and it says the data in the clipboard did not match the highlighted size. I am assuming this is because the VE AFR histogram is not open?

    Just in case you haven't found the answer open up your histogram and edit it to the same axis values listed on the VE table in the program. Worked for me. EDIT: LOL welcome to post #102 I guess this was discussed at length already.

    Thanks that is kick ass That REALLY answered a lot of my questions on what to do with the impossible to understand VE tables in my G8 pcm. Should be a sticky IMO.

    ktoonsez and everyone,

    I have an 2008 LS3 car that was tuned speed density 2bar with EFI Live. The EQ table works and pulls the data into the LS2 2BAR VE format. However, when I look at the table it goes up to 255KPA or 2.5 BAR.

    What i am looking for is confirmation of the RPM and MAP for the X and Y axis. I don't know what EFI live uses.

    Unless the labels do not matter?

    You have to select the new table style you made from the VE Table window. Then grab the equations from your tune, generate the VE table and then you will have all the values in your new table style.

    TO ALL:

    If you are having trouble getting all the equations you are doing 1 of 3 things.
    1. You are not opening al the tables.
    2. The tables are open in split mode or graph mode (need to be just in table mode)
    3. You have renamed the HPTuner program on the hard drive (some have done this to hae 2 versions on the same machine)

    This should help all of you having trouble.
