i bought an LC1 and when the sensor is threaded into the bung all the way, the tip of the sensor is flush with the end of th bung.
shouldnt the sensor protrud into the exhaust flow a bit? thanks.

I would think so. My bung is very low profile and the sensor sits in quite a bit?(NGK)

I bought an AEM and the bung that came with it was pretty tall as well but still left about 1/8" - 1/4" of the O2 sensor out in the exhaust path. I'm not for sure on the construction of the sensor, but I'd like to see more exposure to the exhaust gas main path myself.
These http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/30744/10002/-1 are identical to the Ngkafx one and are thinner. I have the Ngk and these from Jegs. If you look up the Innovative replacement on Jegs, it is alot thicker. See here http://www.jegs.com/i/Innovate+Motor.../3735/10002/-1
Also the Ngk/Jegs is stainless steel and the Innovative is just steel. If that matters.
