LS 2 Twin Turbo Change from LS2 MAF to LS7 MAF.

Has any on running TT changed from LS2 MAF to LS7 MAF. LS2 maf is ok on 9 psi 12-13000 Hz but if I go to 13-14 psi maf Hz hits 13-14000 Hz and gets lean. I have heard it is no easy task to do this change since this is turbo 2005 C6 Corvette. Is there any one out there that has don this? If so can you give info on Hz table so I will have some start point?

    Thanks

What do you mean not easy to do? It's a MAF, so dialing it in is easy. However, the LS7 sensor does not give you more "headroom" in and by itself. You have to use it in a larger housing to gain that.

Also, we need to know what TT system you're running, & then we need to see pictures of where your MAF is now, & what size piping is mating up before/aft of it.

Furthermore, if you are hitting over 12.2k Hz you are pegging the table, so not sure why you mentioned it's okay up to 13k.

I had a car with F1-C with 402ci in it and we used the 80lb injectors on it with LPE 100mm MAF on 4 inch tube and till 12 PSI we didn't have any problem with maf . i don't know what is going to happen if we are going to push little PSI on it .that what i would like to know about it if any one tried it before.. The problem is that 2006 C6 doesn't have 2.5 bar OS available yet for it .

Me tune is ok on 9 psi at 12,2k Hz But 12,2 is the higest point I can change so if I lift that up to get fuel for 14 psi I will be to ritch on 9 psi.

I know this is a old thread but hopefully this helps anyone just doing this now.
You can put in a z06 cold air intake and a ls7 MAF and a ls2 to ls7 harness adapter. Then get a stock 06 or 07 LS7 HP tune file from the repository and copy all the MAF tables. And temp tables and it will run. From there you can maf tune to make it fly.

Yes, even if you get it dialed in 100% correct - the blow off valve WILL screw with it and possibly cause problems - even if it is far enough from the MAF... There's a reason why the OE has gone back to speed density even on the OE platforms when turbos are involved or at the very least are running multiple MAFs...
