Boost Enrichment only on custom OS?

I've just done an '09 CTS-V, and the transition between stoich to commanded does take a while even when lowering the PE enable parameters... (around 1,000rpm)

Is there anyway to add this onto a stock OS? or would the 1 bar MAF OS make this work?? If so, any chance of adding this onto the E67 ECM?

There is no boost enrichment table in the stock operating system.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

If you want to enrich based on load/rpm, you can use the Open Loop Airflow and IVT gain tables. They do to about 12psi boost.

Did you lower the TPS % in the HOT/Cold tables too? That is the other identifier needed to get PE active.

yup, all PE enables were lowered...

looking for another way of increasing PE or BE without upgrading the OS...

As LSX378 said, you could use the open loop tables.. but I'm not sure they would be enabled (other than cold start). I wonder if there was some goof with the transient fueling.. i wouldn't screw with that just yet. Is the actual AFR missing the target AFR or is the commanded AFR taking its time to reach the desired AFR as it blends from CL 14.7AFR? If you are seeing a 'lag' in the actual AFR, you have to account for the amount of time it takes the air stream to reach the sensor.

What makes this change necessary? I understand that part throttle, high(ish) boost at 14.7 AFR would be dangerous.. but how far is the car off from the stock setup?

How long is the lag? Seconds? Did you adjust the enrichment rate parameter? (have heard that this does nothing on some OS's.)

FYI once PE commences ramping in, fueling switches to open loop and uses the OL tables. Normally they are set at lambda=1 at operating temps.

its around a second or a bit less.... commanded changes straight away, but the actual takes it's time... all PE enables have been lowered and maxed out.. The OL EQ ratio table has been set to 1 in WOT areas so I can completely run off my PE commanded....

Like I said, it takes some time for the exhaust gas to reach the sensor - especially at low rpms. Sorry if I sound redundant, I needed a reason to write a post using my $100 ebay TabletPC. Its definitely a fixer-upper. I'll say this though, Win7 kicks ass for these things. That took way too long to write.
