    thinking of upgrading to pro interface

    I am ready to buy a wideband and have multiple vehicles to tune so I think I am going to upgrade to vcm pro

    looking at 2 choices :

    upgrade for $289 I believe it is

    or just buy the pro for $650 and sell my standard interface for $400 which will save me some money and I wont be without an interface for any time

    I am pretty confident in what I can get for it , I am a moderator on the regal gs forum and sell a lot of parts there and the unit would come with 98 regals open and 2 remaining credits

    this all sounds good in theory but I would like some input on what I may not be thinking of . Is transitioning from one interface to another a pretty smooth process ?

    application key change ? passwords stay the same , etc...

    any comments or reasons I should just upgrade my existing interface much appreciated

    Transitioning won't be an issue, when you go to sell your interface just delete any sensitive info off of your customer login page & set your password to something like password & give this to the buyer so he/she can login & update the customer profile with their info.

    placed order yesterday for the pro (also ordered an afx w/ntk) and it looks like I have my standard sold.

    cant wait

    a lot happened since that post , I am now keeping both interfaces so when one is in for repairs I have the other to fall back on

    nope , another reason I kept it since 98 regal is open on my standard interface and I currently own 3 98's - friggers keep finding me for $200-$500

    Glad you got the Pro interface, it's definitely worth it. Is your PB run in a Regal? If so, pretty flippin impressive. I'd shit my pants if a Regal rolled up and spanked my truck haha

    no it wasnt in a regal it was in a GTP but same w body with 3800sc as a regal on a small dry shot

    regal so far 13.1 @107 with traction issues on my 197k daily driver but I hope to get it in the 12's before the track closes at the end of october
