a little help here with a 2 bar SD tune. car wont run

ok. car ran perfect. 2005 corvette. did the 2 bar SD conversion, and did a direct plug and play MAP that i had taken off a 04 GTO thats was also a 2 bar tune, that was new and WAS working fine on that car. now my car wont run. map reads 199 when key is on and when i start it it goes at the lowest to 125 KPA. but no matter what the car wont run for more than 2-3 seconds. we have done a few SD tunes on 04 and older cars but this will be our first 2005 and up. the other question i had is, is it normal for the boost VE to start at all ZEROS? do i have to make that all from SCRATCH? attached is the log of the start up, and the current tune.

Did you by any chance unplug the maf?

Also you should set the p101-103 codes to no mil rather than mil on second
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

The reason I asked is that most late model vettes have the iat integrated into the maf ie don't unplug it unless you've already relocated the iat sensor.

try to richen the VE table a bit and see what happens.some cars would be lean and need more fuel

yea but why after it first starts it wont even get out of the boost VE table? it never gets under 125 KPA. of course it only runs a sec, BUT it should go way down in the KPA after start and not up at 125 KPA. what would explain that?

take a look at the scan and look at the MAP KPA after it starts you will see it doesnt drop under 125 KPA.also does someone have a good STARTER boost VE table? mine started at ZERO across the board when i did this SD conversion. starting from ZERO is a PITA

Sounds like you have a map sensor issue then

ok , i just checked the map settings. i set them to 256 and 10 now, and with the key on the MAP reads 251 KPA unpluged i t reads 10. and now when its trying to run the KPA is in the low 200's why woudl the map read at idle that high? and why woudl my 2 bar map read 251 KPA with the key on?

can someone give me the part number again for the map you have to use for the 2005 vette, let me make sure i got it right.

here is the one i have in there 09359409

can i even run a 2.5 in there since its not actually a 2.5 SD tune? the 2005 corvette only has the option of the 2 bar sd tune.......

the OS on the 2005 corvette should be a 2.5 not a 2 BAR SD.

yes, when you choose the OS you see just a 2 bar option ,but after loading the OS the VE table should read up to 255KPA.

I dont think you have the right MAP, Stephen. The old part number is 12580698 and the new one is 12516136
