    Friendly Advice?

Long story short...I have undergone a single front mount turbo build on my 98 Camaro SS A4... The motor is a stock long block other than valve springs and pushrods... I plan on running 6-8psi to start from a single Master Powers T70 .96ar... Fuel system consists of Twin in Tank Walbros and 60lb Mototron Injectors... We plan to go SD right from the get go....Does anyone have any advice on tuning the combo as far as optimal AFR, Timing Etc for long term survival of the motor... and yea I know its on borrowed time no matter how you slice it...

A good friend of mine will be doing the tuning (he has successfully tuned his own procharged car into the 10s @132mph)...so I am confident in his patience, just looking for some pointers...Thanks!

**And yes of course the car has full gauges including fuel psi and wideband**

15-16* timing tops and mid 11s for AFR.

Borrowed time for sure! That short block isn't going to last very long!

    Hey thanks for the input!

I think that depends alot on how hard I want to push it... There are quite a few guys who have been running 500RWHP or so for quite some time... I think the longevity is directly related to how long you can keep your hand off the boost controller..

    Anyone else?...

LOL...I'd be happy if it lasts a year! I just need enough time to build a forged motor in the mean time...

So does everyone agree on the recommended Timing and AFR?
