    VE numbers with boost?

I have a quick question about VE values and power/boost. If a setup is making 700rhwp how high should the values expect to be?

I was under the impression that VE values over 150 were acceptable with 10lb or more?

    Educate me

VE should be VE. unless you're maxed out on MAP and now you're forced to make up for it with unrealistically high VE values.

Marcin I have a 2 bar SD OS, running around 15lbs boost through a maxed out D1SC. I want to set up my Ve table to be a little on the rich side so I can lean it out as needed. I have values as high as 175, didn't know if that was realistic to be honest.

not unless you're getting your engine internals and headwork from F1 teams

Are those numbers you found you needed by the tuning process or did you just throw in some high numbers to be safe? The actual number doesnt really matter as long as its within the limits of the software, but if you have huge numbers I would suspect something is off somewhere else. Most likely injector data.

Ben, post a tune and a resultant log, I'll take a look at it. I have a feeling you're not properly attributing all the changes to the right table.

Marcin thanks, I am just in the idle tuning stage at the moment, for some reason I thought boost ranges ranged past 150 pretty easy (probably thinking about MAP values).

When I start messing with driving/WOT tuning I will hit you up.

    thanks Ben
