    LS3/L76 3Bar MAP

I dediced to conclude my research with a new thread that would search based on the title.

Here is the 3Bar Bosch Style MAP sensor for the LS3/L76 Style Intake Manifold. Part Number 12592525.

Thanks to RWTD for the Calibration Data.

    Linear: 312.50
    Offset: -11.25

This will also fit the LS7 manifold, correct? I see that it has the detent for the clip, but also has a hole for a bolt to hold it down.

As far as I'm aware, the LS7 manifold still uses the Delphi Style Sensor.

The Bosch sensor has a different probe diameter and uses an o-ring seal. In addition, the Wiring harness connectors are different.

There is a Delphi style 2.5 bar sensor that would be a better fit for an LS7 application.

I'd love to find it! I took some pictures last night of the LS3 map sensor from a 2010 Camaro (12591290), and I am going to compare the pictures to my LS7 map sensor. It looks like it will work, because it still has the clip retention part in addition to the bolt hold-down. The sensor is a 3-wire, correct? The brand of sensor won't really matter so long as I can make the connector work since it's still going to crap out a 5V signal. I'd just have to compare the seals I suppose. The connecter on the 12591290 sensor looked the same as my LS7 sensor. Blah.

I have a Delphi 2BAR (12615136) brand new in the box. PM me your address and I'll send it to you.

THe big difference between the Bosch and the Delphi two is not visible in the picture. Different harness connectors and the MAP Port in the manifold is different.

Got a part number for that Delphi one? Problem is, I need three... all for cars doing over 15psi boost!

Why is this so hard? Haha.

Your best bet is going to be the 2.5 Cobalt SS MAP the Old School 3BAR Brick.

    True.

    However, where there's a drill, there's a way.

I think I might just break down and get the DPE Corvettes one for the one crazy ass wanting to run 20psi... the other guys are all staying under 15, so the Cobalt 2 bar sensor will work.

Are you aware if there is a 2 bar MAP, in the new style (bosch, larger diameter port, o-ring)?

For further data, a stock truck L96 had a 12594942 MAP, 0.30 offset, 128.20 linear.

Any idea what a 12591290 is?

    gonna bump this up.

New to tuning but would be able to change the linear and offset and whatever else i needed to make the 12592525 sensor work with a 0411 pcm? My engine is a 02 6.0 with l92 heads and the ls3 intake is why i ask

    Thanks,

    Thanks,
If you don't do force induction, why are you running a 3 bar map? There is no point to, and maybe even a point not to (less resolution).

But, to answer your question, sure, you can run it.

More important would be to gt your IFR, VVE and MAF transfer table perfect.

I am going with forced induction lol im not that much up a newb. I have HPTUNERS and would be going with a 3bar speed density tune. I will work on getting it all tuned right but i want to make sure that the 0411 was capable of using that sensor

    What's an "0411"? P59? E38? E40? E67?

Have you pulled a tune yet? Send it if you have.

A 2000 gmc sonoma with a custom plug and play harness to use an 0411 computer out of an 02 silverado. The 0411 is the same computer the 01+02 ls1 camaro used I don't know of it being called anything else like P59 or anything. Im mostly just wondering if anyone has used this on say a camaro or silverado and run into issues.

I haven't bought the computer im going to use yet but it is similar to the one i have attached. 02 silverado pcm 6.0

You need to be looking for information in the Gen III section then. The custom operating systems are meant for specific MAP sensors that are outlined by soundengineer.
