the scans are ugly i know this but tell me is it a wiring issue or is it a sensor issue. if you look close it is dropping every 3 secs or so. this is a N* tb and on a gen v l67. The thing that has me so perplexed is the every 3 seconds thing

Try logging 40 or less bytes of data. If you are using the standalone datalogging feature it might be dropping frames of data because you are logging so many pids. I've seen this happen a couple of times on my GTP when I was logging 40 bytes of data.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
