Having a issue with TCC lock/unlock during the 3-4 shift. Trans is build with a 3 disk converter. The converter locks in 3rd then when trans shifts into 4th the converter unlocks then relocks immediately. It mostly happens under light throttle. You can see it right at the end of my log.
I'll just go ahead and tell you on a genIII pcm you might has well give up on wanting it to stay locked during a shift. Setting the "Shift Lock" to Enabled does allow for upshifts to remain locked, But there are a multitude of other parameters we can't get to that cause unlocking under different circumstances. I've tried several times to implement a lock and stay locked setup on my personal stalled vehicle. 100% of the time it unlocks on a downshift and 30% of the time it unlocks on an upshift, even when the lockup tables for the oncoming gear would already have it be locked. Or at least it wasn't a workable option on the 04 12587603 os I was trying to implement it on.
