Did you ever get this sorted out I am having the same problem with my G8? I know it has to do with trans slip. To set the P0741 you have to have five occurances where when the TCC is commanded on and the slip does not fall below 125. I logged mine on the techII and I am staying around 240-300 after the TCC is commanded on. I have done he service cleaning through the techII but the problem is still here.

if you look at his file, the tcc is commanded on at WOT, from what ive been reading the aftermarket converters cant hold lockup at WOT like the factory converters can and will eventually fail the tcc clutch in the converter, and so far there is no way to raise tcc line pressure, seems lots of people have tried asking hpt to add a tcc pressure table but nothing has come of it.

im keeping all WOT tcc turned off till they come out with a table to increase tcc pressure(if that will even fix the issues everyone is having with the 6l80e and aftermarket converters)

A6 uses PWM for lock up. No one is making a converter to operate by this method. Until they do....none of them are going to work correctly or last.

How do you disable at WOT? Set the speeds high?

    Thanks,

Yes, do I set those speeds to something like 155?
