DTC CODE P0327 Knock Sensor (KS) Signal Circuit Front

Pullin' 4* of timing at WOT. Is this telling me the front knock sensor is malfuctioning and needs to be replaced?

it's bad or the pigtail leading up to it is. When that circuit fails, you get a 4 deg pull whenever the car is in PE since the knock system is not functioning.

Pretty easy actually with a good multimeter. I think the knock sensors are like an accelerometer with piezoelectric material inside which outputs a voltage when an acceleration is applied. You are looking at some very low voltages though.

I did this on mine, found out the pigtail was bad. I would get a new one if I were you anyway, they crap out really easy it seems.

i swap the sensors and pigtail at the same time. RTV the new sensors in to keep the water out of them.
