Error msg when trying to log

I get this message when trying to scan.

This used to happen every now and then, but today, it's like every 10 seconds. I'm running Vista Home Premium and using the same congif (attached) that I have been using. I've been running this same setup for well over year with little to no issues, but now it's being a pain! All of the cables are in securely too.

It might be the new beta that I'm testing, but I don't think so since it has done this while running full release software too.

    Anyone else have this issue?

Here's my beta OS if it helps.

For beta issues, please e-mail support.

I've updated the ok/cancel box that you must click to download the beta software to make it a little more clear.

Thanks for the reply, but I don't think it's beta related...I just happen to be running a beta version. It's done this since day one, but always randomly. Now it's more frequent.

It may be one of my USB ports crapping out. I haven't made time to try a different port.

Just wondering if anyone else was seeing this issue and what seemed to help them. If it keeps up, I'll email support with all of the proper info.

Thanks for the great product and support!

Right but that error could very well be beta related as others have had similar issues with the beta.

You'll need to install 2.22 though to rule out the beta.

Good to know. I'll shoot support an email with a current info log in the next few days if it keeps acting up.

    Thanks Keith!

Yeah as keith stated install 2.22 and if you are getting comms issues at similar intervals ie every 10 seconds then its likely not a beta issue and could be a hardware or cable issue. Either way contact support and we'll work through it with you.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Yeah you wouldn't believe the amount of people that post bugs in beta versions of software on the forum even though the email we send and the pop up message when downloading & opening the program(beta versions) specifically say to contact support regarding any bugs you may come across.

Well, it looks like my wireless mouse dongle is the problem. The scanner only act weird when I leave the mouse dongle plugged in. Remove it and problem goes away.
