3.29 gear / 2500 stall swap - check my work?

car is a 98 regal gs which has 2.93 gears and approx 1800rpm stall stock

swapped out for 3.29 gears and a ZZP 2500 stall

made the following changes in my pcm

Calculated gear from 3.29 to 3.69 - auto scale (which changed all mph by 89%)

TCC MIN TABLES - added 15 in all spots
TCC MAX TABLES - added 10 in all spots

Got rid of lockup in 3rd gear (unsure if i want to be doing this)

I believe this is all that needs to be done, i have heard of people change the drive sproket ratio (since it is now 1.0 and not 1.121) but i guess people now recommend to change the calculated gear instead for its autoscale feature...?

Just want to make sure its all right.

    Thanks!

Ok guys, ive spent alot of time on the TCC Duty cycle, lockup and release tables and shift rpm's

hoping one of the veteran tuners can take a look at it and make sure all looks good

3.29 gears, zzp 2500 stall (loose stalls, probably a 2800 rated)

I think i want to keep lockup in 3rd unless someone convinces me otherwise

    check it out please!

Yes, you leave the sprocket ratio at 1.121. Read up on this thread for some more info.

thanks russ - I got that all working correctly, if you have a chance can you take a look at the TC lockup / release tables to see if they look good or have some potential issues? i was unsure about that and TCC min / Max values.

3rd gear lock up is fine if you leave it on or off, i just don't like it coming on and off in town, but if your going long distances in town where your not reaching speeds great enough for 4th then lock up i would leave it on. When the transmission goes into lock up that's when the fluid starts to cool down.
