Hello
Helping a friend with his car its a 2007 s197. The car as bbk long tubes , comp stage 2 cams , c&n 95mm racer intake and maf, and exhaust. no cats.
I got the maf dialed in just right when its in closed loop we are looking at +/- 2% . Now here is the issue. When we first turn on the car the o2s are very very slow to respond. They drop in and out basically. For a while they work perfectly then they stop responding. But once you drive the car runs fine and the o2s work fine. I have made sure to disable all the rear o2 codes and tests. Both front o2s are in new just replaced. But at idle it will throw a fail code and basically drop out and the stft will scew way off.. Then after a bit it will kick back on and work fine. I am guessing its an issue with the heaters because the o2s are so much further downstream.. I really don't know what the proper table to change to enable them earlier or increase the voltage at idle? I was messing with the transport delay but I wasn't real sure what to do considering this is a non issue with GM cars.
Thanks in advance for any advice
Rob
