    mail order tune, or something on my end.

    OK guysI have hptuners, and tuned my v6, but I dont have the time and effort needed. So i got a recommended shop to do a mail order tune, until I could get the car to their dyno.

    mods;
    forged 347
    patriot stage 2 heads
    F14 cam

    mail order tune

    symptoms;
    fouled the plugs once
    lack of throttle response
    car is open headers, but it acts like there is no cam
    no choppy idle.

    attached is an hptuners tune file, and a short scan.

    i would just like to know if you guys think this is a tuning issue or something on my end, as I dont want to trailer car to dyno and it be something on my end.

    Agreed. This may be a big part of your problem. Why are your scans at idle only? Why are you not driving the car?

    Only if you do not have a cat or want to melt it if you do.

    changes made, and no cats on the car. Car is open headers by a lakefront, people be unhappy LOL. We are putting an exhaust on it shortly. Car is too sluggish anyways and feels completely wrong too be driving anyways.

    so these changes wouldnt be my throttle response issue and whatnot huh?

    car has 2 miles or so on new motor, so being safe than sorry.

    thanks for the help guys, kinda read what I changed and how it reacts, hope to see positive results, anything else you all see out of the ordinary.

    A properly tuned cam car should not be "choppy". There will be a little, but that is not a big cam. Sure, you can tell a little bit but it should not be a horrible chop.

    understandable, but you know a car with a cam in it, this has nothing, sounds like a stock cam car.

    I really don't see the issue? lol

    If you want it to be choopy and run like crap, lower the idle and timing down.

    I will have to get a soundclip up of how it is acting now. Somethings wrong, I have no Throttle response, and you cannot tell it has a cam in it, and this is a mild cam.

    Poor throttle response is more than likely due to incorrect fueling.
