need help truck falling on it's face.

I've done very basic tuning to my truck my self. but when i did my cam swap i let a professional tuner to the tune. But now my truck is acting up bad and i don't know what to do. the tuner won't return my phone calls or my email's so now i'm stuck to doing it all myself. I'm going to attach my tune and what little bit of Log i can do while driving it. WOT is impossible by the way won't go over three grand.

Doesn't sound like you had a real professional do it then

That tune is just wrong on so many levels. I would get a stock file and start from there. Might run better on the stock tune.

got a comp 224/224 .568/.568-112, springs, headers, full 3" exhaust, built 4l60e, stock stall for hunting season. It's in a 02 single cab short wheel base silverado with a 5.3... well the tuner was wheatley ya'll may know him but he won't respond to anything i do. i think he took my money laughed and emailed me a tune that would just let my truck run

your still using stock injectors right? the fuel trims in the log you posted definately look like you have a fuel supply problem. check the fuel pressure asap. i made a few changes to your tune that should get you started though, just make sure you take care of the fueling problem.

what brand pump? almost every airtex brand pump (what you get from advance, autozone, oreillys, etc.) i've seen lasted less than a few weeks before it started dying.

Just another reason I won't let Charlie touch my truck... Let the guys here get you straightened out. I'd start with a stock file and go from there.

I've heard more and more problems with his tuning these days. He's got his "poster children" that put his name out there and he actually spends time tuning them... I'd say 90% of his other tunes are cookie cutter files he does.... Anyway.... Hope you get everything straight.

Good luck. Most sites will defend their sponsors even if they know they are guilty of murder. This is the reason I do not get on LS1Tech anymore. Truth does not matter, all they care about is getting their money, what's new.....

yeah if you go to the southern section and just ask who is the best tuner everybody swears he's the god of tuning. i'm just sick of everyone talking about how good the guy is and his customer service is great. That's bull shit... He's done this to me and three of my friends and it really pisses me off

Those people are ignorant. You can not comment on a tune unless you know what went into it or have a comparison to a GOOD tune

I think you need to make an appointment with Mike (WS6) real soon to get things straightened out. He's a "bit" closer to you than I am in Sunny So Cal!

Flaco (from PT.net) did my base tune for my turbo setup on the Dyno and got me some numbers(~460hp/520tq)... Give him a PM or call and he can get you hooked up on something. He did mine at a very reasonable cost and I've made small changes from there to lean out the cruise etc.... I'm more than pleased. I got about 20mpg with the 70mm turbo and 60# injectors today.... Anyway, I'm not trying to "pimp" his tuning because he really doesn't advertise but there's just another option for you.
