LM-1 not syncing up with HPT

I installed the bung just after the collector on the drivers side, wired in the LM1 output to the PRO interface and did a scan. with the preset LM1 setting and the premade HPT PID i was about 1. off on afr EX. if the LM1 display was at 14.7 the HPT might say 13.6ish. I reprogramed the LM1 to the 0v-10afr 5v-18afr output setting and made a new custom pid in HPT for the WB going off soundengineers thread with i beleve it was .625v at 10 well now im showing like 10.4afr in HPT while the LM1 disply will read 14.7 i adjusted the PID up 4.3 points and it matched while idling but was way off at any other point. can/will one of you life savers help me configure my LM1 to work with my HPT so i can do some WOT tuning at the track tomorrow. I tried searching but didnt find anything that would help.I tried several sugestions i found, but with no success.

Have a look at this thread, you may find what you are looking for.http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20433

In the help files it shows the formula as .5 and +10 for the LM-1. You created your PID using .625 versus the .5. That is a very large adjustment IMO.

I'll change it to .5v and see what happens

The LM-1 must have a different offset and range than the LC-1.

If you use .5 and +10, you will likely see the same .1 difference you saw when using the LM-1 PID HPTuners supplied. The good news is a small change in your custom PID number(s) should get you pretty close.

i tried everything from 9.8 to 10.8 and in between and couldnt get it to match the LM1 display what am i doing wrong??? the HPT readout was about a point lower then the LM1 box.

try leaving the +10 as is and slightly adjust the .5 up or down a little at a time. i.e. .512
