I'd to use this to tune a friend's '06 VE but the link doesn't work. I get an error that the file cannot be found. Also, is there a how to use doc or help file included with it? I'm not seeing any instructions in this thread. Probably because everyone is used to using BlueCat's program.

Just toy with it for a bit. It was kind of intuitive to me. Then again, I never really bother to read instruction manuals with anything. Just make sure you have all the windows for parameters you want to modify open so that the hooks work.

Is there a version of the program that has the latest and greatest updates and tweaks from all the issues noted in this thread?

    Thanks

I don't know why they don't have you guys on the HPtuners payroll! I've been using this and it is absoulutely fantastic. I do have one problem though and was hoping there is a easy fix. I'm trying to create Eq's by dumping in a VE table. I cannot paste into the VE table edit window. it tells me the copy/paste sizes mismatch but they do not. Just to be simple about it I only select 4 cells to copy and 4 cells to paste into and it still doesn't work.

    Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks again for the awesome software.

This month's GM High Tech Performance has a HP Tuners ad that says the E 38 VE table is built in.... What's up with that? Is it coming in the next version?

It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I get an error that says "Could not find one or more of the equation strings. Can not continue." Any Ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Sounds like you missed a window, make sure you have the constant, map^2, map, map.rpm, rpm^2, rpm, zone RPM boundaries, and zone MAP boundaries windows open and they are not zero's.

I've checked these are open and I still get the same message. Any other ideas?

Could it be ver. 2.23.3363.3028 of HP Tuners software that had a change?

I believe so. I didn't work with the beta version I was using. I switched back and all was well.

Thanks Ben Diss, I'll try that.

Well I've switched back to the original version and it's still not working. I removed and reinstalled ver. 2.2.2 and I still get the error, can not find equation string and then it aborts. The list of things it's doing gets to copying and all the way to copying map boundries then the error message appears. Any help would be greatlly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Pete
