    Alloy Tech V6 - read failed

    Using VCM Suite 2.2 fails on step:

    6. Reading Entire VCM gets FAILED

    VCM Read Failed at loc: 0 Error Timeout

    any ideas?

    3 steps you should try
    1 make sure ya scanner if the program is open is set in the "disconnect" mode.
    2 ignition is in the on position when doing a read or write
    3 if the above is ruled out, disconnect the MPVI from the usb and the obd2 port - should be no power light on the box, then reconnect and retry.

    There are some 08' E77 Alloytech pcm's we currently do not support which is probably the issue you are running into.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
