    What year GTO? 04?
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

There is no manual flash for a TCM. If the vehicle had a TCM it means it had an auto transmission

04's are a different story in that the LS1 pcm also controlled the tranny. 05+ had separate modules for the pcm/tcm.

ok so how do I do this with my 05, I did realise they have seperate controlers,I need to change transmissions mine keeps breaking. If I go to 400 turbo,I want my speedo to work and is there paramerters inside the pcm that has to do with the tcm?

Not sure, no experience personally with swapping to an M6 from a vehicle that had a TCM, might be as easy as getting rid of the tcm but honestly I'm not sure.

Ok I have another question I was thinking after I do a burn out and try to use the trans brake in the 4l65e this is where the problem starts what is the glitch in the programming that causes the trans not to shift?and the speedo not to work?I beleive this is the cause of part of my problems, since the TCM does not know the car is moving it does not tell the trans to shift thus not alowing the car to shift after I released the brake, car seems to be just in second gear, although its manually in third on the selector.

Probably a wiring issue of some sort, pinched wire or the like.
