    6L80E...holding trans in gear for dyno pulls

    What's the "trick" for keeping the A6 in gear on the dyno. Even using the paddle shifts won't leave the car in gear.

    Thanks in advance for any advice.

    In the VCM Scanner go to:

    Displays

    VCM Controls

    Trans

    From there you can pick a gear and lock the converter

    That works fine on the 4L60s, not working for me with the 6L80.

    Its probably because you didn't modify your file to ALLOW it to lock in gear

    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
