Question Having WOT EIO/LM-1 issues (richer than dyno WB02)

    Hi guys, need some help.

I had an issue last year about my LM-1 WB reading fine at normal cruise but when I went WOT it was on the rich side when compared to the dynos WB 02.

Here's the tread from last year:

    http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13828

I went back and reset my LM-1 and tried it again and it did seem to help some but not 100% sure. I even used a brand new 02 sensor.

I haven't really tuned that many cars this year but the last one I did, same thing, I was reading around 13.0 and the dyno was around 12.5. Part throttle WB O2 readings were 14.7 with my LM-1 and the dynos WB 02. I used 2 different 02 sensors and after I calibrated them in free air (for the heater and O2) it didn't make a difference.

Why is this? I thought the LM-1 was plug and play with HP Tuners?

I see there is a write up for the LC-1 what about my LM-1? Is there an offset that needs to be done? How should I have my LM-1 Setup? Looking for something simple, set by step.

    Thanks in advance...

Is the LM-1 O2 sensor installed before the cat and the dyno sensor in the tailpipe after the cat?

    No cats.

My wideband is right after the header collector. No exhaust leaks either. Plus its the same on different cars. Tried dyno WB 02 in place of mine and at the cutout, still have the difference.

I think I had the issue about 9-12 months after I got the new hardware and a major software update.

51 views and no ideas, I guess nobody here uses the LM-1 anymore...

I recalibrated the LM-1, programed it to a 10-18 AFR, made sure it matched up in HPT when I set it to 2.95 volts and adjust the "offset", had to make it 9.82 in the custom EIO input. Seems to be working but haven't checked against the dyno WB yet, going to the dyno tomorrow.

I'm going to install the dyno WB in the extra WB bung port right next to my WB 02.

If this doesn't fix it,then I have other issues somewhere else.

Maybe the dyno wideband is off.
