Log one of the DOD Actuator switches. When that trips, you're in DOD mode.

Did you custome tune your G8? If so, can i take a peek at your tune file??
Hmm... I can't seem to find any params relating to AFM/Dod.
Zim, I haven't changed anything yet for two reasons:
1. I only have 500 miles on her
2. Still figuring out what stuff does beyond the basics of fuel/spark; the transmission looks pretty complex.
