    Speed Limiter in 2008 Escalade

    Hi there,

    I have been having a hard time trying to figure out how to remove the same. Any experience ?

    Attached is the stcok file for reference.
    03 Mercedes ML55 AMG - Stock
    06 S2000
    06 GMC Sierra 3500 - Tuned
    09 GT-R - Stock
    09 Lexus LX570
    10 Camaro SS , Bolt Ons , Tuned

    Our stickies have a great whealth of information contained within

    Turned off your speed limiter but it still cuts out at 100mph?

    basically you need to set your speed limiters as you'd like & then set the source to calibration rather than GM LAN
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    Hi Bill,
    sorry for bumping an old thried. i just did that on a 2009 Escalade and once i uploaded the file. i got a Traction Message on the screen. any info on that

    just that nothing ells. i flashed the car back with the selection to GMLAN and the message disappeared.

    Dunno, maybe the module doesn't like the new settings in the pcm, we see it alot with the abs module not liking tire size changes.

    It happens once in a while with a flash.. If you reflashed it with the same file once again, it should go away..

    Or just turn off the ignition for a few minutes and it goes away. Just needs a little time to reset.
