    Datalogging nitrous

Im looking to use input #2 to datalog when I hit the nitrous. How do you step the voltage down from 12 volts to 5 volts? This will make it alot easier to compare the A/F and when the button was actually pushed. Thanks

I know this can be done with a resistor. Noone has tried this yet?

It will take a couple resistors. 6.2K from 12 v to 3.9K and to ground. The resistor bridge needs to be connected all the time. If you lift the ground you get 12V on the EIO... Bad news.

Then you get the EIO input from the point where the two resistors connect.

So here ya go in pictograms
    12 VDC

    E 6.2K Resistor 1

    EIO INPUT TAP

    E 3.9K Resistor

Make sure you test it first before hooking it up to the EIO... Caveat Emptor...
