Possible to do frequency type inputs?

Is it possible to do a frequency type input?

Square wave, 5 volt?

I'm curious about that is well. As well as what type of resolution it has if it can do this. I'm looking into buying a HP Tuner for my car, and if it is able to log square waves at a decent frequency, it makes it pretty useful for troubleshooting... and will help me hit the submit button faster

for example, wheel speed sensors. I don't feel like buying a cheap oscilloscope to see what is going on with my wheel speed sensors.
