Thread: IAT timing table not actually pulling timing?

IAT timing table not actually pulling timing?

I am trying to scale the IAT Spark Table (Engine>Spark Control>Spark Advance>IAT Spark>Base) to pull timing on a forced induction car to control heat soak and protect the engine.

If I set the Multiplier to a value of 1 will this result in a full reduction of timing from total advance when activated? Are there other tables that might diminish or detract from this reduction in total timing advance?

If you put 1's in the entire multiplier, this will give you the exact amount of advance (usually negative so it is really a subtraction from Total Advance) from the Base table based on temp of the air coming in.

There are a total in 21 tables for advance and retard for my '08 vette. Don't know what car you have, but it will probably close to that.
