    anyone know if HPtuners can read the ecu on the 2008 Lincoln MKZ...

    You can give it a shot but theres a good chance it won't unless it shares the same pcm as 08 F150's or Mustangs.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    dont want to buy the software just to see if it would read it or not..is there to tell on the ecu

    It's on the hptuners main web site what vehicles are supported by them.

    The vehicle list shows 04 ford f150 4.6. That is the same motor that is in the explorer and pretty similar to the one in the lincoln aviator. I would love to be able to tune my aviator.

    I'm not sure if they use the same pcm or not but wouldn't be suprised if they used different ones.

    thanks for your help i found someone in vegas who is going to pull the info from the ecu and see what they can do with it.
