He cannot unlock a pcm YOU locked. YOU must unlock the pcm with your cable.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

The unlocking procedure is listed here http://www.hptuners.com/help/vcm_edi...al_details.htm You must use the interface that was used to lock the pcm to unlock the pcm.

Instead of doing a write entire for that step by step procedure use the Write Vin/Tunerlock/Vats window under the flash menu so it'll be like this:

    1. Open the file you want to UnTunerLock in VCM Editor
    2. Open up the Calibration Details window.
    3. Press "TunerLock VCM" icon, the status will reflect the new not TunerLock status.
    4. Select Flash->Write Vin/Tunerlock/Vats (note this is not a risk free operation, frying the VCM is possible using this feature)
    5. VCM will be reflashed...
    6. Wait 15 secs for VCM to reset
    7. Switch ignition OFF for 20 secs to allow VCM to save the changes
    8. Switch ignition ON for 20 secs to verify
    9. Switch ignition OFF for 20 secs
    10. Engine should start and run normally
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
