    201 Cavalier Z24 2.4L LD9 supercharged help.

Im currently running the stock Gm supercharger reflash and ive noticed that the crossover from being in vaccuum to going into boost is a little rough and takes like 2-3 seconds for the car to actually feel like its getting power from 3rd to 5th gear. Is there any way to fine tune that so its not so rough? I have the 2.6" pulley and on the supercharger with a 62mm throttlebody also. Im spraying meth with a coolingmist injection kit also. Im using 50/50 denatured alcohol and distilled water mix. Thanks

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think HP Tuners will read the GM flash. The code is locked. You will get a checksum validation error and your OS ID will be 0. What I have to do is run 2 PCM's. One with the GM flash and one with the stock flash that I have tuned with HP Tuners.

You are thinking of the ECO reflash.. The LD9 is able to be edited..

does changing the PE disable from 3400 rpms to 3000 do anything to my car? it seems to run a lil smoother now when it goes into boost.

As stated above, pick up some books and read alll the info you can on here and HPT.com.. If you don't fully understand how things work and what tables relate to other tables, you can seriously get yourself in trouble real quick.,,, Not trying to be a d!ck, but PCM tuning is not for everybody...
Its not that people do not want to help you, but if you do not understand what you are doing, you need to do some reading/research..

Yes it does change things. Depending on when your car builds boost depends on if that is needed. What is your air/fuel at those RPM's before the change and after?

Then he shouldn't even be attempting to tune the car. You can skimp on parts all you want, but that is the most crucial piece of equipment in running and tuning a modified car. Without it you don't know jack.

I have a related question for the Cavalier PCM:

Is the information stream class 2 data, or other? Which pins on the computer
are used for communication to the DLC?

Are pins 15 and 16 correct?

    Thank you.

Does anyone have any ideas for this problem?

Is this PCM able to be programmed out of the car, and on a test bench
    environment?
